During my pregnancy, I had imagined how I’m going to “snap back”, lose the excess weight and have my petite body back before my Lil King is 2 months old. My Lil King is 2 months old today and it hasn’t happened. I planned on having an active exercise and diet routine. In retrospect, it is not as easy as it seems. After my twin pregnancy, I didn’t gain much weight, nausea was a blessing in disguise. Double active breastfeeding took care of the little weight gain. I didn’t have to do much, just focused on tummy exercises. During my last pregnancy, I munched anything eatable and gained weight like never before.
I stood on the weighing scale last Friday and it read 68 Kg, my weight on my delivery day was 75 Kg, my pre-pregnancy weight was 55 Kg and my size was regular 8 or petite 10, now I am regular 10/petite 12. 13 Kg has to go. Although I had started some early morning stretching and practice “exclusive breastfeeding” (gives artificial milk like once a week). Apparently, this isn’t working so well, I need a good and active exercise plan and diet. Over the weekend, I have started and realised, these are so easy to say but not easy to practice. My body aches and I’ve started craving for fries and ice cream. Nonetheless, I need to focus on my goal which is to shed the excess weight. I will let you all know how it my weight loss journey goes.
