SHEA MOISTURE JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL STRENGTHEN & RESTORE SHAMPOO WITH PEPPERMINT & APPLE CIDER VINEGAR REVIEW

Hi Loves, welcome back to my blog. Shea Moisture sent me some products from their Jamaican Black Castor Oil range. I use the Leave-in Conditioner in this range and I love it so much, it is an holy grail for me. Seeing how much I love the Leave-in, I was so excited to try the shampoo and other products out. Today, I will be reviewing the “SHEA MOISTURE JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL STRENGTHEN & RESTORE SHAMPOO WITH PEPPERMINT & APPLE CIDER VINEGAR”. Long name I know, LOL. To know how I feel about it, keep reading.

Review:

  •  Packaging: it is packed in a clear cylindrical bottle, this makes it easy to see through the product to know how much used or left. It also makes it easy to hold in the shower without it slipping away. It has a flip-flop lid making dispensing it onto palm(s), hair and scalp easy.

  • Consistency: It has a liquidy consistensy. It lathers so well when applied to wet hair. If you are not careful with this product,  your whole bath will be filled with soap lather, take it from me, a little really goes a long way.

  • Scent: its scent is so similar to the leave-in but milder. Very nice perfumey smell that doesn’t linger.
  • This shampoo is a good, clarifying and inexpensive one, I really love it. It cleanse my hair without stripping it of its oils and moisture. My scalp felt so soft and squeaky clean after use. I love it more because of its ingredients which are Jamaican Black Castor Oil which repairs and strengthen hair; Peppermint, stimulate the scalp, promoting hair growth and Apple Cider Vinegar that regulates hair pH level and enhance hair growth. Although,  it contains peppermint, it didn’t feel tingly on my scalp.

Verdict: Overall, I love this shampoo, from its scent, how it cleanse my hair, made my scalp feel and its ingredients. I am giving it a score of 5/5 because I can’t think of any cons.

Note: I always pre-poo my hair before shampooing.

It was such a wonderful article dear and from my side I want to say that i am using jamaican black castor oil from long and its really effective. SheaMoisture’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow & Restore Loc & Braid Butter makes your curls and coils so irresistibly soft and smooth that you will want to touch them again and again.

    • I haven’t tried the LOC & Braid butter, it is not available in the UK yet. I will try it out once I can get my hands on it. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and your support ❤❤❤

  • I just ordered this and can’t wait to try it out. I’m hoping it helps my hair grow.

  • I myself am awaiting this product to come in the mail, cant wait to try. I have already tried this one with the Shea butter, JBCO and ACV. I want to see if there is a difference between the two. Can I share this post?

  • I can imagine too and the inflation also wouldn’t help. I’ll appreciate it. Thanks for your usual support. Thanks for stopping by my blog ❤ ❤

  • Usually sulfate free shampoos make my hair look more oily and limp :(. Did you have an issue with that with this product?

    • No, I don’t. It didn’t make my hair oily. It is a clarifying shampoo. Thank for stopping by my blog ❤ ❤

  • Yeah do, it’s good. Thanks for stopping by my blog ❤❤❤
