REVIEW

  • Packaging: It is packed in a cylindrical white tub with orange lid containing 117ml of product. It’s a good and convenient packaging making it easy to get the product without wasting it.

  • Consistency & Colour: It’s semi-liquidy, well whipped, light weight and one of the most moisturising product I ever used. It feels wet on the palm and hair. It doesn’t leave any white residue and doesn’t weight hair down. It has moderate slip to detangle with. It’s white in colour.

  • Scent: It smells like most Cantu products. It has a similar scent as the Cantu leave-in conditioner.

On Application

  • I apply it to my hair after cleansing & deep conditioning it or after co-wash,
  • It feels wet on the palms and in my hair,
  • It’s very moisturising and doesn’t leave a white residue,
  • It’s well whipped and feels light weight on the hair. It doesnt weigh hair down and doesn’t leave white residue.

COMPARISON TO THE CANTU SHEA BUTTER LEAVE-IN: In all honesty, I prefer it to the leave-in. It is more whipped, more lightweight and moisturises hair better and longer. (See my review of the Leave-in HERE.)

Cantu shea butter leave-in vs grow strong treatment

VERDICT: This is a really good moisturiser that also doubles as a treatment. I love everything about it and has immediately become one of my favourites. I love its cute packaging, nice scent, lovely consistency and very moisturising.
